greetings!

'morning, this is CORS. may i help joo?'

greetings from the CORS helpdesk, in a pantry in some part of NUS (top
secret info, coz we're afraid of irate students)!

been here for the 3rd day now, and life is pretty senang. apart from the
occasional polite calls, every other call is pretty much the same: high-
strung students who...

1. don't read the CORS guide and hence cannot understand a thing
we're saying
2. just want their way ('but! i have so many points in my
programme/general account! why can't i transfer some points over??!
CORS SUCKS.' well, so do u.)
3. are just plain rude, and begging for poor service from us.

it's not that i don't want to be nice, you know. i am nice. i'm a sweet girl.
but u people! supposedly the cream of the educational crop in singapore,
have no sense! argh!

ok. onto to other less perplexing topics.

i had an okay Christmas eve, a poor Christmas Day, but a great Boxing Day!

i can't remember what i did on the eve haha. hmm. ok never mind.

edit: oh yes! i went to sentosa! it was fun, though the turn out was smaller than expected. and we lost a new friend to the waves of singapore waters: dicky dick, greg's frisbee. sad day, it was. and darker, i did not turn. sigh. :(

Christmas was weird this year... i went for service so i missed hanging out with my dad's side of the family. then the rest of the day i just sat at home and spaced out. after which i thought it was pretty sad not to do ANYTHING on x'mas, so! impromptu supper! me greg alvin went for prata at simpang (so exciting, my first ever supper there, though it's so near my place). yay, then guitar hero! shiokers.

the end. sad, right? ah well, but Jesus was born. whoop!

on boxing day i went along to my mom's side at boonlay. yeah. simei to boon lay takes about 1 hour on the train. gah! we went there to oogle at the latest addition of the family: an overweight eurasian baby girl aka my 7th niece. i have SEVEN nieces and nephews! sheesh, there's at least one every year la. it's like a production line, man...

anyways when i got there there's this one cute (also fat) niece of mine who's super attached to her mum. and she doesn't like anyone but her immediate family members to touch her. except maybe weiyi. i don't know why. but yes! i made progress! she chose me to play with! i'm so honoured! *cries*

aiyah, she just wanted to play with me, but it was so sweet, coz she allowed me to carry her... and i absolutely don't know how to carry kids. but she taught me! and basically squirmed and squirmed till she planted herself on my hips. and yeah, i have wide hips so i guess she was comfortable. my left arm went slack after putting her down though.

SHE'S SO CUTE! AND FAT! AND CUTE! ARGGGGGGH~

well, then at night i went over to aileen's for dinner with the cell. i ate so much i puked the next morning. heh. but we had so much fun! aileen curled my hair, then ingrid and i started to put on make up and play dress up (yes, at the age of 22 going on 23).

so fun. :)

meeting the girls for gift exchange today! so fun too!
