the rainy weather makes for great sky
as alvin and i waved goodbye to his cell and started walking towards the expo bus stop, we saw this awesome sight.
here's a closeup:
and we thought that was that.
i mean, those were really pretty sun-rays (which never fail to make me think of God's glory XD) and well, good thing i had my camera coz i NEVER bring it around unless i was going for some outing.
but i mean, it's just sun-rays and i was just glad i brought my digicam.
then we got on the bus, hit tanah merah...
and saw THIS:
i craned my neck, and poked alvin (who promptly called it an 'oily' cloud, hahaha) and whipped out my digicam again. i waited and waited until we could see its full-blown glory... and here it is.
WOW.
my pictures definitely doesn't do the cloud justice. from our view, it really looked like the Aurora. the colours were SUPER BRIGHT and so defined in the sky!
and then by the time we turned from temasek JC, a little bit of those rainbow colours started peeking out from the left side. heh.
by the time we hit siglap, there was the teeniest rainbow straddling two bunches of 'dettol' clouds. my camera couldn't capture it since we were shooting from inside the bus, so i just took a few shots (just in case) then the rest of the time i just kept smacking alvin on the arm and squealing 'rainbow! rainbow!!'
sigh, i miss sunset way, where rainbows appeared ~50% of the time after a downpour.
