finally updating.
ZOUK OUT!
when going to zouk out, be prepared to queue. and queue. and queue. oh, before that, probably a traffic jam before u get into sentosa and after u get in to park. so i met felix to drive us in at around 11, and managed to step unto the sands of siloso only at 130. sheesh. and we er, cut queue somemore. though i was grumbling about wasting half of my $24 ticket (coz i missed half the party already), the party was just getting into the swing of things at about 2! and just nicely, 2am was the schedule for hip-hop at the mambo jambo stage.
felix was an absolute sweetie. he drove me in, and forego-ed (forewent?) his main arena (the trance stage) to help me look for greg. and he got me 2 free drinks! and then he sent me back! plus we had breakfast! it was fun waiting in the queue with him, coz as usual, my auntie alter ego got all fired up, and he was all the uncle by saying stuff like, 'eh, dun need kan cheong, the queue still very long... cut also no use.' heh, and he was entertaining!
oh hey girls, we really SHOULD go, coz...
1. FRESH AIR. not much smoke coz open area!
2. cheap drinks for y'all
3. no puke in sand (haha, private joke eh?)
4. CAN WEAR YOUR FUNKY BIKINIS. AND SHORTS. AND SLIPPERS!
5. oh and it's not like damn crowded la. u have your own little bit of personal space if you don't go all the way to the stage where the dj's spinning.
cash money was... ok. like, not bad la, but not very consistent i thought. he played tons of oldies though. old school hiphop! and i knew them!
it rained at 4am. BAH.
so everyone was running all over looking for shelter... and then came the first picture.
that's mel(anie), greg, moi, and his hk friend odie! (xinwei! don't laugh!)
yeah, and we were surrounded by trannies!! tranny galore i tell ya. everywhere we turned there was one. and they all looked like drowned rats coz they were caught in some rain before making it to the shelter. *hurl* greg looked scared. haha.
well, the rain wasn't too bad, so we decided to come out and dance in the rain after i heard 'switch'. after we stepped out and braved the rain, the music went downhill. damn.
but then, woo-hoo, the rain let up a little, more people came out to dance, then the music improved. yay. then came the 2nd picture.
me and mel!
so we danced and danced... until suddenly i was like, 'are those sun rays??!' it was 6am already! so i left to look for felix coz he was leaving. we had breakfast with some of his pals, then home!
slept from 745-1230. my alarm went off and i bounded off the bed. yay, first service at expo. weiyi even called just to check if i was awake yet. went for service bleary eyed and muscles aching... but when i got there, woah, the worship ministry was on fire. it was so good! and i don't know HOW but i still had energy. in fact i was more energetic than at zouk out, haha. must be running on spiritual power.
after service, went to look for weiyi at eastpoint coz we wanted to go check out the newly arrived kittens at the pet safari.
we stood in front of the glass window for one hour.
then! the best! alvin msged to say he had a spare ticket for 'chestnuts'! so i went! can't remember everything, 'cept me laughing all the way. and i didn't even get the jokes. i just laughed coz hossan leong is THE FUNNIEST. rubber face HAHAHAHAHAHA. sitting next to alvin was good too, coz he laughs so loud, he muffles me. i think the people sitting in front of him might have gone deaf.
'eh, why is hossan suddenly miming? hmm. at least the fella behind has stopped.'
nah, kidding. teehee. i finally rested on monday morning 130am.
Cash Money is the only reason to go Zoukout this year anyway... bet he play Gwen's "let me blow your mind...yada yada"... anyway hope next year he is back.... or better yet.. DJ Tiesto...
I saw your pic with Daniel DNT too... the fellow was a bit too drunk that night huh?
