i (L) rockapella.
i know i am extremely suaku coz i'm 23 and rockapella's my first ever concert in the esplanade.
i'm really glad it was them. even though i was invited to the concert and didn't exactly scream 'oh, oh i wanna go~!!'
they were absolutely fabulous. when they started off with their first song, i admit i was geared to be nonchalant and maybe i foresaw boredom in the not-so-far-away horizon.
but i was so "XD" blind, coz by the time i was halfway there (to the horizon; yes, bad analogy but i don't care) it was all pretty and sparkling and SO GOOD I WAS CHEERING AFTER EVERY SONG.
wah lau. T_T
this was definitely not an acapella concert where the band just sang their hearts out. coz the lead singer lost his voice halfway. haha.
but all was well! they were so entertaining that i'd clap with delight everytime they did something special e.g. a dance move/ very low voice inserted into a section of the song/ when they came back for 2 encores.
really, as i'm typing this, the only phrase in my mind is 'sheer delight'.
i'm kinda speechless right now, coz my words don't do them any justice. you have to watch them if they ever come back.
i think i melted like, 15 minutes into the set, into a 'puddle of fat' as kel would put it.
*wobble*

on a separate note, Taffy Boy, i was right!!
George Baldi of Rockapella was NOT a Boyz II Men member.

which means what was written in the bulletin was right, as well as my assumption.
*smart-ass cheeky look*

Yes, yes. I was wrong to even doubt your comprehensive skillz. *grin* I went home and checked it for myself that very night, and slept embarrased. Haha.
Taffy Boy eh? I like that. :p
