urban outfitters
gosh i love their stuff.
and yes, this profusion of love is because i'd just received the second batch (it's quite a big batch) of items from UO. see, see! :DDDD
this skirt is soft and cool to the touch. quality = more than pass! a little thin, but would be great for the office. i would actually really love this, but i kinda remembered the print wrongly, so when i saw it upclose i was a little disappointed (it was different from my crazy imagination). oh well.
the loop wallet? not so much. feels a bit cheap and fragile... i think the fabric might tear after a while. or i will accidentally sit on it and warp the metal frame. :(
interestingly, it was this wallet that started off my $300 spree.
this dress is thick and heavy but not like a winter dress. it's just... smooth and heavy. and looks very nicely structured! i cannot wait to get home and try on everything. T_T
then maybe i can wear this to my cousin's wedding tomorrow. :D
plus, this is my (new) LBD! huzzah!
this mesh tunic looks great in my hands and feels great, but i really hope it doesn't have the same weird chest problem as seen above.
this will probably look good with a jacket. but it's thinner and less structured than it looks here. i may or may not keep it.
and here're my top 3!
this jumper is damn classy! i love how it's so relaxed and yet the linen feel makes it look so stylish and NEAT. pair it with a necklace and we're ready to go.
now... do i have a bag to match this... and shoes... *evil laughter*
this skirt would be my favorite if not for the final kickass sweater you'll see in a bit. the quality is beyond awesome; it has pockets and is heavy (so it will swing when you walk) but flouncy too. i don't know how to describe it but once i touched it and looked at its shape, i knew this skirt is the GOOD STUFF.
and also it has little galloping horses on it. WIN!!!!!!!!
ok seriously, if you don't think this is awesome... you're weird.
but yes i know , it's the wrong season, i have to wait one year before santa comes around again etc.
BUT WHO CARES! IT'S A GREAT SWEATER AND IT'S ON SALE! *grabby* i'd have a huge kick wearing this, for sure! everytime i see it i want to laugh.

my first batch from UO was smaller, but shipping was... horrifyingly expensive thanks to the Where The Wild Things Are movie still.
they used a HUGE separate box for it... and it cost alvin $100? $200? on shipping alone. T_T that's more expensive than the still!!! *wails*
but anyway i will never make that mistake again. dear alvin absorbed the shipping bill too. T_T
i love you.
but okay here're the other things that came in.
their opaque tights are of the best quality i've ever encountered. thick, solid colors and FOOTED. but only the opaque tights though, coz the reviews for the rest of their other tights were quite shitty.
and of course almost everyone has seen this dress if you've been to any Jan 2010 wedding with me. hehe. it was pretty alright. fits well and covered my tummy semi-well. and so easy to wear! no frills! :D
the review culture in UO is really what makes me buy like nuts from them. i love it, love it, love it. how not to, when you can see comments from people who've already bought the item, and gives you heads up about color, fit, quality, and everything good and bad about the item?
i... think i wanna get more stuff. will put up a notice when the next sale on sale comes along.
btw, i did wait until there was a 25% off sale items before i went mad. :)
walao you make me wanna shop there!!! gah..
next time youre buying lemme know! lol.
how much are the tights? i need to get a black pair soon, not sure where to get from cos ive never gotten one before!
