alvin suddenly said, 'hey dear when can i go to your place?'

i was like, what's with the formality man, come anytime you want la? *scratches head*

alvin: NOOOOO i want to go and 'bai nian'!

me: oh. haha. thought what.

so! alvin had this fantastic idea to buy yusheng so we can all 'lo' together. when i told my mom, she was all, 'aiyoh no need *nag*nag* why go to all that trouble...' etc.

but you know la, traditional chinese woman - she's actually delighted, hahahahaha.

my dad's excitement over sashimi was a lot more unconcealed. he shuffled out when alvin and i came home, and then he also hopped on the spot when i showed him the sashimi (which was so beautiful).

it was quite a good time. i don't think the 5 of us have ever sat down for an extended time together coz my dad works in shifts so he's gone most of the time when alvin comes over for his weekly Friday dinners. ahhh... :)
