SUCH a fruitful day that i'm growing cherries out of my head...
it's so, SO good to know in every way that i'm going the right way because i planned my year's lessons first AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN
a while later ps debra sends out a letter to say that (yes!) her congregation meetings will be (just nicely) in line with mine!!
AND AND AND
when i spoke to the parents, we all got excited (actually only aunty aileen and i) when we were talking about my plans coz that's what they want too!!
THEY ACTUALLY WANT THE GIRLS TO GO OUT AND BOND (THANK GOD) AND THEN MEET BOYS (IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT)!!!
my finest speech (came from God, for sure):
"u know the girls will go out and meet boys,
but the only boys they will meet are the ones who
WANT TO MEET GIRLS.
see, like for my current boyfriend.
he's so guai, so he used to go home everyday after school...
HOW TO MEET??!?! so you won't meet the guai boys one,
coz they all go home!
so they should come to church!!!"
muahahahaha. u know i have got a point. i need to make use of my highly energetic ("had-some-catnip") state and meet the parents who didn't come, PRONTO.
parents!!! put your girls in a cell group!!
---
and then!!! i met the student council ladies, talked about procurement rather excitedly with angel, and spent an entire evening slouching at TCC over a cuppa, trawling through singapore for that ONE VERY FANTASTIC HAIR STRAIGHTENER (in case u were wondering, jade, it's the braun ES2. got ions that one.) AND THEN GOING TO THE ARCADE. basically hanging out the whole day with predominantly female company. oh-so-greaaaaaaat.
YES EVERYTHING IS IN CAPS. even i suspect i had some catnip, mreeeeoooow!! :D
