Urban Outfitters: comparing actual and website
here's the loot! yeah both batches came in together coz i bought them one week apart.
this package was so filthy that i just needed to take a picture of it, and throw it away quickly.
er, batch 1 completely filled this box. :$
batch 1 (preopened)
batch 2! (thank goodness they were all sealed up... i'm still thinking about that filthy, filthy package UGH)
more pictures after the 'jump', and a disclaimer: i am not a hot chick. neither am i stick skinny like the models on UO. so if you have a huge aversion to flabby arms and a trunk-like body shape, you might want to skip the rest of the post.
:D

actually, if you spend time reading through each review and mousing over every detail to blow it up, you will not suffer any unexpected (almost always bad) surprises.
so in summary, i was happy with this purchase, though i feel a bit sick thinking about how much money i'd spent.
$500.
mostly birthday money... but still.
well, probably time to start looking for a flea market to get rid of my old goods STAT.
...
alright let's not cry over spilt milk. i did amass quite a bit of a fashion overhaul.
with reference to this post:
this head band is seriously pretty. look at the details.
if you are taller than me, this is how it will look like:
it's amazing how it looks like lace... but it's really not!
and if you're short like me...
this necklace was a little larger than expected when i held it in my hand.
but looks perfectly sized on my neck!
conclusion: i have a large neck.
this top was very very bleh.
meh! material was thin and shapeless. i will keep this but it will be funny if 2 weeks down the road i declare it as a staple in my wardrobe coz omg-it-goes-with-everything etc.
this popcorn striped top was also quite meh... i don't know man. i think the color made it look cheap.
this lace top was quite breathtaking...-ly sheer. i need to get a camisole with this. also, it's super delicate because it's so thin.
look at the pretty little details!
the pretty blue skirt - it was really wrinkled when i first pulled it out but it settled down after a while. also, it's pretty much completely opaque!
i was also wearing the bree top:
oh my goodness i knew the side panel was transparent but... this is a very large side panel.
and the jacket of the year goes to...
i am so glad i bought this. i still have my second piece - does anyone want it?
i missed out a picture on the trousers... which were... mmm... well, they FIT. :D *shrug*
the low back dress is not in yet since it's on backorder. besides, i will not put it up on the blog if i plan to use it for the pre-wedding shoot.
aaaaand with reference to this post:
the poof skirt that was not really poofy on me. -_-"'
the structure was nice though, especially the side view. it was also the right size for my waist, which made it SO HARD to pull over my hips.
an enthusiastic word by mr. geren ford:
the out of stock grey lace top (also transparent, GAH!)
the back is completely transparent with swiss dots, so it is really very pretty on bareback but then... sluttiness in the front becomes an issue.
*anguish!*
this dress is super cute, but also tells me the model was probably 2 whole sizes away from me.
i love, love, LOVE the panel collar.
this next dress is definitely my favorite, but i just could not get a flattering picture of me in it because it means i need to put both arms down. drat.
it's really very nice! and i got it for a steal at 29.99 coz it's shot up to 39.99 now.
and finally.
INSANE PANTYHOSE.
PSYCHEDELIC! FLORALS!
and here concludes $500 of expenditure. goodnight. :)
